Specs

The powder system consists of a main tower and an external coating container.

The powder drum and recycling process is all combined in the main tower and is easily accessible.

The external coating container allows the main tower to be placed up to 20 meters away from the welding machine.

The high-voltage cascade, installed right inside powder arm, is charging the powder just before application. Our cascades are known to be very durable.

High voltage is monitored even on the receiving side / measured directly on all cans. A loss of high voltage can thereafter easily be detected. This guarantees a stable high voltage by lowest current settings.

Extraction elements return excess powder back to main unit for reprocessing.

PLC with touch screen and modern HMI with extensive functions for efficient and comfortable use, such as:

Best possible preparation of the powder by ultrasonic sieve with an ultra-fine mesh. Preparation directly above the coating tank. Magnetic separator integrated.

Set the powder quantity manually using the pressure regulator? Not really. The important air values are set via the HMI. The proportional valves regulate and check the required air volume fully automatically. Blockages and leaks are detected.

The filters in the filter container are cleaned automatically. The differential pressure is measured for cleaning. This means that cleaning is only carried out when necessary. This increases the service life of the filters extremely.

Cleaning vacuum pumps is annoying. To prevent this, there is a safety filter directly on the vacuum pump.

The system is designed for all powder drums available on the market. The drums can be changed in just a few steps.

The powder quantity of each can is measure. Using limit values, the welding machine is stopped when the powder thickness falls below the desired quantity.

Air dryer is considered as an important extra in order to avoid any moisture inside the powder system. It helps to prevent powder from lumping and sticking.

Seam cooler and cooling nozzles are available as an option in conjunction with lacquer and powder coating unit.
Any type of welder exit conveyors, designed by FREI AG, can be retrofitted.

The main unit can be extended to serve 2 production lines when the same powder is used.
